Hutchison Logistics was founded in 2002 as the supply chain solutions and logistics services division of Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH). Headquartered in Hong Kong, with subsidiaries in Europe and Asia, Hutchison Logistics offers extensive experience in Asian and Western cultures, manufacturing sectors, and consumer markets. This combined with the company's access to HPH's worldwide port network, allows Hutchison Logistics to offer our customers a unique set of operational capabilities.
The company is able to link its customised supply chain solutions to a multi-modal network that encompasses road, rail, sea and air transportation for both inbound and outbound trade. As a result, Hutchison Logistics can offer customers cost saving, total visibility, and an accelerated transit-to-market.
In 2007, a decison was reached to pool Hutchison Logistics with Asia Port Services to form a comprehensive logistics service provider called Port Services & Logistics (PSL). Backed by the HPH's network of container terminals, warehousing facilities, trucking services and feeder facilities, PSL will offer customers seamless logistical support around the world.
