CCB Frontier Capital (Hong Kong) Limited (“CCB Frontier”, or the “CCBFC”), incorporated in Hong Kong on 27 Jun 2016, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CCB Trust Co., Limited  (“CCB Trust”, or the “CCBT”), the sole trust business platform of China Construction Bank Corporation (“CCB”). CCBFC is the first offshore subsidiary of CCB Trust and will be the primary overseas platform of CCBT for its investment holding and financing business outside the PRC. It is also the only offshore platform set up by a domestic subsidiary of CCB with special approval by CCB.

At the beginning of 2016, CCBT identified international expansion business as one of its ten major business focus for future development. CCBFC was established as the key milestone of such strategic initiative. As of now, CCBFC’s business comprises investment management, investment consultancy and financial advisory, etc. with focus on three major segments including:

For the infrastructure of “Belt & Road”, supported by Chinese government’s B&R policies, many state-owned-enterprises (SOEs”) are searching for offshore investment opportunities, with particular focus on infrastructure projects in the countries, including high-speed railway, nuclear power, road, port, business park development, construction and operation, etc.
CCBFC will proactively participate in the B&R project construction, and play an important role to provide diversified financing for the relative SOEs.
