The Firm
Messrs Mike So, Joseph Lau & Co were established in Hong Kong by Mr Mike So and Mr Joseph Lau on 17th November 1997. The firm carries on business at 13th Floor, Chinachem Tower, No 34-37 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong, with a gross floor area of 4,300 square feet.
Our firm has four (4) Legal Aid Practitioners appointed by the Legal Aid Department and we are panel solicitor firm for Centaline Property Agency Limited, Ricacorp Properties Limited and many licensed banks in Hong Kong. A list of our bank clients is attached.

The Structure
Our firm mainly acts for clients in relation to Hong Kong conveyancing, mortgage transactions, personal injury litigations and matrimonial disputes.
At present the strength of our firm includes eight (8) practicing solicitors, two (2) legal executives, and thirty two (32) supporting staff, making a total of forty two (42) persons.
Our expanding conveyancing team, which is headed by Mr Joseph Lau, consists of a workforce of thirty three (33) members. The team is manned by head clerks with at least ten (10) year working experience in the sale, purchase, leasing and financing of commercial, residential and industrial real properties. Our sales volume in the year of 2006, in terms of consideration involved, wherein we acted for the assignees is HK2,030.31 millions.
Our Mr Joe Lau leads our litigation team, which consists of 9 members. A lion share of the portfolios relates to personal injury cases.

The Principle
Messrs Mike So, Joseph Lau & Co are very much a part of Hong Kong and its future. Our firm is committed to serve the public by providing legal services which are needed today and which will be needed in the years ahead.
