The Company is primarily engaged in investment in, and development of, properties in Hong Kong. The Company also owns and manages a hotel and a shopping mall in Hong Kong.
The property portfolio consists of residential investment and development properties, office and retail investment properties and a hotel property. The Group's residential property investment and development projects are mainly located in the up-market Mid-levels area, the Peak, Shouson Hill and Stanley of Hong Kong Island and Tsimshatsui of Kowloon. Its commercial property portfolio mainly comprises Grade A and B office space in Central, Causeway Bay and Tsimshatsui. Its retail property portfolio mainly comprises properties in Causeway Bay, Shamshuipo and Mongkok.
The Company's strategy in respect to its property investment and development activities is to acquire focus on quality properties located in prime and / or growth areas in Hong Kong.
The Directors consider that the Company generally aims at the middle to higher end of the property market and seeks to maintain high standards in the properties that it develops in terms of design, quality of materials and finishes, and in its investment properties. The Company employs, in all its developments, a team of architects, engineers and quantity surveyors of international repute to ensure that the properties developed would meet such standards. The Group also engages in professional management of its investment properties in order to ensure a good quality of service to its tenants, to maintain its reputation as a developer and landlord of quality properties, and to maintain the condition and capital value of the properties.
