Founded by French Editor-in-Chief Cristina Sanchez-Kozyreva and German Publishing Director Jan Verhein, Pipeline is an independent, internationally growing bilingual art magazine based in Hong Kong. It is published six times a year by the independent publishing house Double Pipe Publishers ( other titles include the Hong Kong Gallery Guide). The publication serves as a brainstorming platform for artists, art researchers, curators and collectors with an open mind and room for the underrated and the non-established, always committed to serious art making but non in an academic way. The magazine's name comes from its effort to bridge artists from east and west and describes the link between different contemporary art practices internationally, while being based in Asia.
