A Humming Way fashion wear line defines the next level of oomph, simplicity and luxury all in one. Positioned as a High End and High Street (Handcrafted)Luxury fashion, for women, A Humming Way is primarily a formal/occasional wear brand for women of 20 years and above. Our Patrons are brave young women of the new world who are smart, ambitious, independent and do not shy away from expressing themselves. As a brand, A Humming Way believes, that its audiences are seasoned and have their own voice; they like to experiment and are looking for more than just trends and fast fashion. To them their clothes are an extension of their ideology. In terms of design, what distinguishes the brand is that even though it’s a western clothing brand at it’s core, it appreciates local aesthetics and craftsmanship which reflects in it’s clothing and makes it unique.
 
A Humming Way is working on making a difference in its contribution to the fashion industries carbon footprint. In the context of giving back to nature we are taking a few steps to mark the phenomena of co living/co existing. We are trying to empower villages/artisans/weavers by adopting a village near Ahmedabad in Gujarat, whose residents were slowly losing this art of weaving as it was not a viable source of earnings and hence were struggling to make ends meet. Despite having a powerhouse of skill and the strength of a versatile product offering, the lack of resources prevented this certified Khadi to reach the right market. This is where ‘A Humming Way’ stepped in to stop this ancestral passing of skills from disappearing and creating a business opportunity that offers these artisans a comfortable lifestyle while doing the work they have enjoyed doing all their lives. A Humming Way also offers a luxury couture line that uses the same fabrics in creating sustainable and luxury occasion wear parlaying from the textile offerings of the label. 
 
The journey of A humming way started in the year 2017 by Sweta Agrawal, a new age entrepreneur and designer at heart. Inspired by the indigenous heritage of south asian cultures, AHW started with a vision to create designs that appeal to the strong and confident women of India that sport an appreciation for luxury wear. 
 
The product is designed by us and is manufactured at our own unit. Apart from physical presence we are in the process to make the brand available to our customers via our own e-commerce portal along with the strategic plan of collaborations with other online and offline established business units. In just a year of our existence, AHW is present in over half a dozen countries with an interest to reach out to 10 countries by the end of the year. A Humming Way was officially launched at Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018.

An appreciation for hand-spun and hand woven hand loom fabrics of India led to AHW’s first collection of certified khadi fabrics . Khadi is a valued treasure of India as it embodies the past heritage and future fortunes.
