Description
The PB-12J01 (6V Fail-Safe) and the PB-12L03 (12V Fail-Safe) switches are On-(On) patented switches designed to be used as the accelerator of the car. The Fail-Safe has a water protection rating of IP66. The key to the Fail-Safe is how the switch acts if the contacts were to ever weld together in the on position. The Fail-Safe would disable itself in the off position and immediately stop the car which is the best scenario given the fact that standard rockers and pushbuttons run the risk of failing in the on position, resulting in a runaway car.
