- LECA means Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate produced by bloating clay with a high temperature of 1400~1500℃in a rotary kiln. LECA is round and extremely light in weight just 1/7 (350-400kg/m3) of normal stone aggregate. Its dense exterior shell and porous interior structure provides outstanding insulating properties. LECA is a unique product in compliance with BS3797-1990.And,LECA aggregate is stable building material being inserted to corrosion by acid,chemically neutral,not attacked by fungi, non-absorbent and frost resistant. LECA can apply to Light Weight Concrete/Screeding, Roofing insulation, LECA Precast Concrete, LECA Lightweight Block, Structural feature and Gardening & Green Roof (LECA is the most advanced way to construct a Roof Garden by using LECA Lightweight Modular Unit). In order to enhance the strength and functions of lightweight concrete, suitable additives can be added in. LECA is steady in quality and will not have chemical reactions with any admixtures. It is durable and high in compressive. Lightweight concrete can be mixed with any types of additives and protect steel reinforcement against corrosion.Treatment when grouting and maintenance is as same as normal concrete. Minimum weight 650kg/m3 (Strength 3Mpa), Maximum Strength 60Mpa (capacity: 1700kg/m3), Tensile Strength : 2.5Mpa(365Psi)~5Mpa(725Psi), Conductivity(Heat): 0.18W/M.K. LECA「Ready Mixed Bag」Standard - Model A (1300kg/m3，10-15Mpa) 0.05m3per bag(25kg).
- LECA Lightweight Concrete can easily operate with 2 bags of LECA「Ready Mixed Bag」 (with suitable mixing) + 1bag of Cement + Water (1m3 = 1.23m3 LECA mixed with 450kg Cement). Also, it can supply 7m3 per truck (LECA mixed with cement) of which is carried by Concrete Truck.
