The brightest MR16 LED in existence comes with max 850lm and uses the newest Luxeon Tx and Osram square chip sets. Despite the loss, after the LED chips are embedded into the lamps, the actual lamp luminous flux (max 650lm) will still be greater than the 50W Halogen MR16s they are replacing.
