Mondial is a major electronics company from Brazil that offers a wide range of products, including small appliances and audio‑visual items. I am mainly sourcing products for our perimeter lights, party boxes, mini speakers and microphones at this fair.
Located in Hong Kong, this fair is one of the best places to meet new electronics suppliers and access high‑quality Chinese electronics efficiently, especially from the Chinese Mainland, such as manufacturers in Guangzhou. Not only did I successfully identify a headphone product from a Hong Kong supplier on the first day, but I also saw great potential to expand other collaborations with a budget of US$3 billion to relevant product categories throughout the fair.
With the help of Scan2Match, I was able to gather detailed information of potential suppliers conveniently, giving me a pleasant and effective experience. I would love to attend this fair again.
Letstango is a United Arab Emirates-based e-commerce marketplace that has been operating for around 13 years. We work with more than 1,000 vendors and offer a broad range of products, primarily in electronics, accessories and appliances, while continuing to expand into other categories.
I came to the fair mainly to identify new vendors and explore products that would be suitable for our market, especially accessories, mobile-related products and artificial intelligence-enabled consumer products. So far, the response has been very encouraging. HKTDC has arranged 10 businss matching meetings for us, and beyond that I have also identified around 10 additional exhibitors from the Chinese Mainland that are of strong interest.
What makes Hong Kong particularly valuable is its role as a highly efficient gateway for connecting international buyers with suppliers and manufacturers. For buyers like us, being here in person makes a real difference. It helps overcome communication barriers, speeds up decision-making and creates direct access to factories, products and service providers all in one place.
The fair has also opened up opportunities beyond sourcing. I have met service providers that could potentially support our logistics and even help us explore setting up a presence in Hong Kong to facilitate regional operations. That was not something I had originally planned, so it really shows the broader value of the platform.
We already have a sourcing budget of around US$1 million. Compared with my last visit around 10 years ago, the fair today feels much larger, more dynamic and far more diverse. I was also impressed by the RoboPark zone, which shows how quickly innovation is evolving.Overall, I think the fair is a very effective platform for business expansion, new partnerships and regional market development.
We are a distributor of camera and mobile phone accessories based in the Netherlands. Our main goal in attending this fair is to meet various manufacturers and source products such as camera accessories, phone accessories, and power banks.
We chose to attend the fair specifically to connect with suppliers from Chinese Mainland, as it remains the only place in the world with a complete and mature manufacturing ecosystem for the types of products we distribute. So far, we have met with 25 suppliers from Chinese Mainland, primarily from Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Zhongshan in Guangdong. They offer a wide selection of mobile phone accessories, chargers, power banks, cables, and camera-related accessories. We plan to place an order of approximately USD 50,000, consistent with last year’s volume.
Organising the fair in Hong Kong offers a geographical advantage due to its proximity to major manufacturing hubs such as Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Zhongshan. This location allows us to meet suppliers conveniently at the fair and arrange factory visits within the following days, further underscoring Hong Kong’s role as a gateway between Chinese Mainland and the global market.
The fair gives us the valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of market developments and identify emerging trends by talking to different suppliers. This year, we have observed a strong focus on mini cameras and enhancements in power bank quality, including improved battery cells and stricter certification standards. Moreover, the fair remains the most efficient way to compare suppliers, as it brings many of them together under one roof, allowing us to meet them in person and explore unique products.
This is our fifth time participating in the fair, and we are very satisfied with the outcome. We will certainly consider returning next year.
Established in 2017, our company distributes consumer electronics in Singapore and Malaysia. Established in Kazakhstan, our company sells electronic products online. Our objectives in attending this fair are to source computers, telecommunication products, and humanoid robots, and to identify partners in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland who can collaborate with local companies in Kazakhstan on joint manufacturing and product distribution in our market.
Kazakhstan already has one of the more advanced economies in Central Asia, and by collaborating with partners from Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, we can introduce their products into Kazakhstan and export our solutions to neighbouring countries such as Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Hong Kong is home to many companies with strong global listings, which can help us access markets around the world, distribute products more widely, and explore additional opportunities for investment in joint projects, making it an excellent place to find collaboration partners.
So far, we have identified around 15 potential suppliers from Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, offering monitors, humanoid robots, and electronic components. We have also attended 10 productive business matching meetings, through which we have gained useful information about different products. I have been coming to exhibitions in Hong Kong for many years to source new brands and explore new business opportunities. My business focuses mainly on mobile accessories, gifts and speakers, and over the years I have successfully identified brands through exhibitions here and developed distribution opportunities from those connections.
This time, I came to the Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) with a particular interest in artificial intelligence-related products and new technology applications. On the first day, I had already arranged meetings with two potential partners from the Chinese Mainland, both involved in artificial intelligence-related solutions, and I expect to meet more exhibitors as the fair continues. I am especially interested in practical products such as cleaning robots and other artificial intelligence-enabled applications that may suit my market.
One of the key strengths of the fair is its international reach. It brings together exhibitors and buyers from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and many overseas markets around the world, making it a valuable platform for discovering new products, new suppliers and new ideas all in one place. For buyers like me, Hong Kong remains a very convenient and effective hub for connecting with companies across Asia and beyond.
I also find the fair well organised and easy to navigate, which makes it more efficient to identify relevant exhibitors and focus on the categories most important to my business. Even at this early stage, the fair has already helped me identify new opportunities and potential partners. That is why I continue to come to Hong Kong for exhibitions, and I would certainly consider returning again in the future.
At this year’s Electronics Fair , we are mainly sourcing weather stations, internet of things sensors and alarm clocks.
Our objective in attending the fair is both sourcing and market research. Technology evolves quickly, so it is important for us to understand what is new in the market, what may become competitive, and what technologies may fit into our product strategy for the coming year. This fair provides an effective platform to do that in a highly efficient way.
This time, we scheduled around 12 meetings with exhibitors from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Denmark, and we reached out to around 10 to 13 contacts in total, which is more than last year. So far, we have identified two to three potential workable partnerships, and we have also met with two to three factories we already work with to explore new opportunities. That combination of new sourcing, existing supplier discussions and broader market intelligence is especially valuable.
Hong Kong continues to stand out as an ideal location for this kind of event because it is highly accessible, easy to navigate and attracts participants from around the world. The fair remains a very effective platform for finding new vendors, reconnecting with current suppliers and meeting potential business partners in one place. The Scan2Match function has also been useful in helping us save exhibitor details and follow up more efficiently. Overall, the fair has definitely helped us stay informed about the latest industry trends, and we would certainly consider returning again.
MARUTAKA CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in sourcing, importing and selling consumer electronics and household electrical products.
This time, I came to the fair to explore products and factories that may not be easily found through other channels, especially suppliers and items that are unique to this exhibition. As our company handles many electrical appliances, this fair is a very useful platform for us to discover new sourcing opportunities and understand what is currently available in the market.
One of the major strengths of the fair is its diversity. This time, I scheduled around nine meetings with exhibitors from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, covering a broad range of products and technologies. This kind of diversity is very valuable because it allows buyers like us to compare different suppliers, identify new ideas and explore products across multiple categories in one place.
The HKTDC fair also gives us a strong sense of market direction. Compared with previous visits, I feel there are more products this year that have caught my attention. I also found the Scan2Match function very useful, as it helps me save exhibitor details, organise contacts and select potential collaboration opportunities more efficiently. Even when a product may not fit our immediate business needs, the fair still provides meaningful exposure to new technologies and industry trends.
Overall, Hong Kong remains a highly effective location for this kind of sourcing event. The city is convenient, international and easy to access, while the fair itself is well organised and continues to attract a broad mix of exhibitors. LEDVANCE is one of the leading brands and manufacturers in general lighting, luminaires and lamps, and I am responsible for residential smart components beyond lighting, including products such as smart plugs, sensors, irrigation systems and cameras.

One of the biggest advantages of Hong Kong is its accessibility and efficiency. For European buyers like us, it is very convenient to travel to, easy to navigate, and the fair’s city-centre location makes meetings and follow-up arrangements much more efficient. Hong Kong also offers a more international and Europe-oriented sourcing environment, which is especially relevant for our business.

The fair is a very effective platform for supplier discovery, market intelligence and future cooperation, and I would certainly consider returning again.

More importantly, Hong Kong serves as a gateway between Chinese Mainland and the rest of the world, making this fair an effective platform for companies that want to break into the Chinese market.
This fair is a productive place to match buyers with suppliers. Since a wide variety of companies are gathered in one location, buyers have more options and better opportunities to compare prices and products. Compared to last year’s fair, there were even more new innovations, such as drones and dog robots, robots designed to detect gas leaks, and other useful appliances. In addition, the Robopark zone was a strong innovation and an interesting feature of the fair.
Newegg Commerce, Inc. is an online e-commerce platform that buys and sells mainly computer products, from laptops and desktops to components, and related electronics.
At the fair, my objectives are to source products and learn about emerging technologies, as there's always something new. Several OEM and ODM exhibitors from the Chinese Mainland also impressed me with power banks, keyboards and consumer electronics, allowing me to identify 25-30 suppliers with great potential in just one fair.
The Scan2Match function definitely is useful for keeping track of the booths we are interested in, making our sourcing journey more convenient. Not only is the HKTDC fair an eye-opening event for me, but it is also an invaluable stepping stone for us to discover and connect with high quality partners and trends that drive our business forward. I look forward to participating in this fair again.

Hong Kong’s strategic location, being close to the Chinese Mainland while also being highly centralised and international, makes it an ideal hub for sourcing.
Despite our repeated attendance, we still discover impressive new exhibitors. This year in particular, we have noted strong interest in robotics as a recent industry trend. On top of that, we also get to meet our current suppliers and gather further solid leads. We expect to make around 10 quality contacts per event.
Recently, we have turned our focus on lower MOQ products so that we can diversify and try 10 different products of around 100-200 units. Many of the connections we formed from HKTDC fairs result in lasting partnerships over 10 years. Our largest orders are typically around 3,000 units for US$30,000, with repeat orders every quarter.

We have set a sample order budget of US$70,000 for around 5 units, and an annual procurement budget of around US$1.15 million. With the right conditions, we could secure 1-2 long-term partners from the event.
The HKTDC Scan2Match is a very convenient tool, as I get to record which exhibitors I’m interested in, with crucial notification reminders for business matching meetings.
Samsung Ventures is looking for innovative companies that could potentially collaborate with us, with a focus on robotics. We were attracted to the Electronics Fair because of the RoboPark zone, as it is very useful to see so many humanoid robots from the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong all in one venue, allowing us to meet many companies and do comparisons efficiently all in one day.
As our first attendance at the fair, Hong Kong has shown itself to be a strategic location from a communication perspective, as English is widely spoken, which makes things easier for us. We have already had 10 business meetings and plan to follow up with 3 companies. For these opportunities, our investment budget is US$3–5 million per company.
One key trend within robotics we spotted at the fair was the drift to targeting consumer and entertainment applications, as I had initially thought robotics were only for industrial uses beforehand.
Scan2Match is also very useful, especially as some exhibitors did not hold name cards. It definitely helps in securing the information.

I have identified 180 potential suppliers, mostly from Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland, who are offering cutting-edge products such as coffee machines, as well as robotic products such as window cleaners and noodle makers that haven’t yet launched in the German market. I have also joined 10 business meetings where suppliers show a good view about the latest products, and we had good discussions. I expect to place five to six orders on robotic products and innovative home electronic devices. The expected total value would be USD$400,000-500,000.

This is our first time at the Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), and the experience has been excellent—busy yet perfectly paced, with a vast array of suppliers in one place. We chose this fair to connect directly with manufacturers, bypassing intermediaries, and have already identified at least five potential suppliers, mainly from Guangzhou, for speakers, DSP amplifiers, connectors, zip ties, and sound dampening materials. We're ordering samples from all of them and estimating a potential purchase budget of US$300,000 to $400,000.
We also enjoyed the debut RoboPark zone, showcasing over 100 robots—it's really cool and eye-opening. We will definitely participate again next year.

We've identified at least five potential suppliers, mostly from Guangzhou and Shenzhen, from whom we'll order samples—including standout audio systems that we discovered on-site beyond our initial list. Hands-on product inspection here, versus just online photos, revealed options in different sizes we hadn't considered, and we anticipate a collaboration budget of around US$300,000 to $400,000.
