The 6 Main Performance Advantages are the following:

Hardness Enhanced CA (HECA) properties from BioAcetate S70 allow for the material to be extra hard, but not brittle, while having an innate flexibility to the material that helps improve production (reduces breakages for example). More about this in the PPT attached.
Frames made from BioAcetate S70 have protection against deformity (this is to solve one of traditional acetate's biggest headaches of deformity). This is because BioAcetate S70 has HECA properties, that allow for the material to be extra hard but not brittle. This leads to less deformity and less shrinkage in the material.
Frames made from BioAcetate S70 have compatibility with all types of lens. There are NO chemical reactions with AC or PC lens. This allows for more flexibility in choice of lens.
Thinner frames can be made with BioAcetate S70 (when compared to other bioacetate or traditional acetate). Frames can be made up to 1.5mm thin with great production stability. This allows for flexibility in designs since BioAcetate S70 allows for designs that were not possible before.
BioAcetate S70 frames also differ from other bioacetate materials because BioAcetate S70 can also be used for injection applications. This allows for flexibility in applications and different types of frames to be made from BioAcetate S70 all with the eco-benefits and performance benefits of the sustainable BioAcetate S70 material
Superior surface finishing. Due to HECA properties, frames made from BioAcetate S70 become easier to polish and the end surface treatment result is superior to that of traditional acetate or other bioacetate. This leads to a better end product for consumers.
