Origin & Terroir

On the left bank of the Dordogne in Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire, this 45-hectare vineyard lies on former riverbed gravel soils with a unique microclimate. Originally a fruit orchard, the estate was replanted with vines in the 1960s. Named after the "gabare" boats that once transported wine to Bordeaux.

Tasting Notes
