HKTDC August events open next week with wellness focus
Showcasing global foods, tea culture, healthy living and smart home innovations under "Live Well．Stay Well" theme
The HKTDC’s annual August mega events, including the 36th Food Expo, 4th Food Expo PRO, 10th Beauty & Wellness Expo, 12th Home Delights Expo and 17th Hong Kong International Tea Fair will open at the HKCEC on 13 August, together with the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products. HKTDC Associate Executive Director Smilely Lam revealed highlights of the events at today’s press conference
As an international food trading hub, Hong Kong serves as a gateway linking quality food products from the Chinese Mainland with global markets. This year, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China has organised participation from various mainland provinces and regions including Hunan, Hainan, Anhui, Guangdong, Shandong, Xinjiang and Hebei, leveraging Hong Kong as a platform to expand overseas. Food Expo PRO introduces the new “Meat Zone”, showcasing premium meat products from around the world
The popular “Coffee Zone” returns, featuring a Hong Kong exhibitor presenting local coffee products

The Fish Marketing Organization and Vegetable Marketing Organization have expanded their participation this year and will introduce a new unified brand, “Hong Kong Harvest”, showcasing the unique appeal of local fishery and agricultural products
Celebrating its 15th edition, the Gourmet Zone brings together premium delicacies and fine ingredients from around the world and features live cooking demonstrations by 15 celebrity chefs
