Company Description:	Universe International Group (the "Group", stock code: 1046) is principally engaged in film and TV series production, artiste management, music and video distribution, film licensing and sub-licensing. In 1986, Mr. Lam Shiu Ming, Daneil founded Universe Laser & Video Co., Limited which was solely engaged in video distribution. For satisfying different consumers' need, the Group, now capitalized on a film library with over 4,000 films, continuously endeavors to diversify its variety and range of video entertainment products, including motion pictures, stage performances, TV series, infotainment programs, etc through its well-established video distribution network. The Group is commencing to sub-license the film rights to publishing houses in PRC in 1995, sooner after, licenses and sub-licenses the film rights to various media such as free/pay television stations, hotels, ships and airlines in overseas markets widely covering Asia, Australia, North America and Europe. In 1999, the Group was listed in The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, which marked a milestone in the Group's development. Since year 2000, the Group endeavored to continue the diversification strategy through investment in film production, and had produced over a hundred Chinese-language film, including "Shaolin Soccer", an all-time high for Chinese-language film in Hong Kong with a HKD60 million box office take, and other extraordinary films include "Divergence", "Re-cycle", "Invisible Target", "The Strom Warriors", "City Under Siege" and the upcoming "The Child's Eye" etc. In 2002, the Group established Artiste Management Department to further exploit diversified scope in entertainment business, now the contracted artiste includes Elanne Kwong, SQUARE, Izz Xu etc. In 2009, Model Agency was established.
