Andy Ann is the Founder and CEO of NDN Group, a digital conglomerate and investment group focused on building, acquiring, and growing companies in the digital space. His business covers a wide range of industries across multiple markets, including artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, digital advertising, mobile app development, social media services, e-Commerce and content development and distribution. Hotmob, Klarity Analytics, New Digital Noise and NOIZ are some of his companies. He is also a serial entrepreneur and an angel investor who has founded and funded over 20 startups.

Andy is well-known in the business startup community for discovering and mentoring high-potential entrepreneurs, and has been actively involved in multiple local and Silicon Valley incubators including Google EYE, 500 Startups, Founders Institution, Entrepreneur Organization, KPMG and more. He is also one of the founding members of TEDx Conferences, focusing on inviting inspirational speakers in areas of NGO, Social Enterprise, and Philanthropy.

Andy was the Young Entrepreneur Winner of DHL and SCMP as well as Piaget in 2008 and 2013 respectively. Recently, he has joined The General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs (GAZE) as a member of their Executive Committee — a non-profit organization founded by Jack Ma, Chairman of Alibaba — pooling together local and mainland entrepreneurs to foster social cohesion and driving long-term economic prosperity.

Golf was born and bred in Bangkok, Thailand. His mind and heart were blown open to the creativity across various continents.

Golf initially joined Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand in 2002.

Since 2005, he started a 9-year worldwide creative journey with Y&R Hong Kong, Bartle Bogle Hegarty Singapore and London, JWT Tokyo, Jung Von Matt Hamburg, Walker Zurich to Ogilvy Shanghai. In 2014, he returned to Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand and served as the Executive Creative Director.

In 2016, Golf was appointed to the newly-created role of Chief Creative Officer of Publicis after the reformation of the Publicis Group. In the meantime, he served as the Chief Creative Officer of Saatchi Thailand.

In mid-2017, Golf found his own company ‘NAWIN consultant’ to provide creative solutions and consulting services in the digital age powered by YDM Thailand.

Golf has been collecting awards as keepsakes along the way, among which Cannes Gold Lions, D&AD, Clio, Young Guns, ADC Germany, ADC*E (Europe), Spikes Asia, Adfest, AWARDS (Australia).

From time to time he enjoys being a member of the jury in various festivals such as London International Awards, Adfest (Asia Pacific), Kancil Awards (Malaysia), Kam Fan Awards (Hong Kong), ADSTARS (Korea) and Lisbon International Advertising Award.

Golf tends to sweat a lot, so he wishes he could have a career in chanting and meditation. He enjoys his happy marriage with a lovely young son.

Dr Bernard Chan Pak-li was Political Assistant to the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development from March 2013 to June 2017.

Before joining the Government, Dr Chan spent about 10 years working in the technology sector, gaining experience in intellectual property trading and crossover collaboration. From 2008 to 2013, Dr Chan served as a member of the Kwun Tong District Council.

Dr Chan holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering and a PhD degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University, USA.

Ms Margaret Fong is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) since 1 October 2014. With a global network of 50 offices, Ms Fong heads this international team whose mission is to create and facilitate opportunities in global trade for Hong Kong-based companies. She joined the HKTDC in 2010 as Deputy Executive Director, responsible for the international promotion of Hong Kong’s product and service industries and the Council’s office network worldwide.

Ms Fong has worked in a variety of public service posts, beginning her career as an Administrative Officer with the Hong Kong Government. From 1997 to 1999, she served as Deputy Director-General in the Washington Economic and Trade Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

She was Deputy Secretary for Transport from 1999 to 2004, Director-General of the Washington Economic and Trade Office from 2004 to 2006, and Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, USA, from 2006 to 2008, representing the Hong Kong SAR Government in the United States. Before joining the HKTDC, Ms Fong was the Commissioner for Tourism from November 2008 to December 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong.

Ms Fong is a member of the Aviation Development and Three-runway System Advisory Committee, the Film Development Council, the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Mi Li is Head of Global Marketing at the South China Morning Post, a leading news media company that has reported on China and Asia for more than a century with global impact.

She joined the SCMP in September 2017 and spearheads audience and market development strategies to help heighten the SCMP’s global brand presence. In addition to developing SCMP’s branding and communications strategies, Mi is in charge of identifying and leveraging sponsorship, partnership and marketing synergy opportunities for the SCMP.

Before the SCMP, Mi was Global Head of Business Partnerships and Content Marketing at the Financial Times (FT), and a member of the FT’s Leadership Group in the United States. She was also a founding member of the FT’s Audience Engagement team, which enhanced collaboration between its editorial team and commercial divisions. She also co-founded the FT’s Future of FinTech Awards, launched globally in 2016. Prior to the FT, she was Audience Development Director at The Fiscal Times and Marketing Manager at American City Business Journals, the largest publisher of metropolitan business newsweeklies in the United States.

Mi holds a B.A. in Journalism from the Communication University of China, and a M.A. in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Juno Mak is a singer, actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He began his career as a singer in 2002. He creates alternative pop music and produces his own music videos. Previously, Mak released “the album part one”(2018) with canton pop singer Kay Tse. The album was a great success winning multiple music awards in Hong Kong. In 2010, Mak wrote, produced and starred in “Revenge: A Love Story”, which won him the Best Actor Award at 15th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival as well as the Best Textual Philosophy Award at the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival. Mak made his directorial debut with “Rigor Mortis” in 2013, which he produced jointly with Japanese horror film master Shimizu Takashi. The film won the FIPRESCI Award at the 50th Golden Horse Awards in 2013, and the Jury Award at the 21st Gérardmer Film Festival in France in 2014, and was one of the recommended films at the 20th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. In addition, “Rigor Mortis” snagged nine nominations at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best New Director. In 2018, Mak directed, wrote, produced and starred in “Sons of the Neon Night”. The film is currently under post-production.

Jonathan Mildenhall is the former Chief Marketing Officer at Airbnb, and was formerly the Vice President of global advertising strategy and creative excellence at the Coca-Cola Company.

Mildenhall started his career as a graduate trainee in 1990 at McCann-Erickson. Over the next 15 years he rose rapidly through the ranks of the London Ad industry working at some of the world’s most respected creatively-driven agencies including BBH, Lowe Howard Spink, Howell Henry, TBWA and Mother. During this time he also worked on some of the world’s most compelling brands including Audi, Smirnoff, Alfred Dunhill, General Motors, Guinness and Playstation.

In 2006 he joined The Coca-Cola Company as VP, Global Advertising Strategy and Creative. In 2007 he lead the introduction of Coca-Cola’s global marketing platform Open Happiness, an initiative that helped contribute to the most profitable growth period in 20 years, helping increase Coke’s share price from $29 to $81. Furthermore, the ‘Open Happiness’ platform went on to become Coke’s most awarded marketing platform in history.

Mildenhall joined Airbnb in June 2014 and made it his mission to help Airbnb transform the industry disrupting property rental platform into the next global iconic superbrand. In just three and a half years Airbnb grew from having 400,000 homes on the platform to having over 4,500,000 homes in 191 countries, each home helping to make the world a place where anyone can belong anywhere. The Airbnb brand is now one that defines popular culture.

At the end of 2017 Mildenhall decided to step down as CMO at Airbnb to focus on launching his own marketing and practice called TwentyFirstCenturyBrand. Bonnie Chan Woo is the CEO of Icicle Group, a leading cross-media branding and marketing company with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Manila and it is publicly traded on GEM of Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Icicle Group services over 250 brands with a unique result-driven approach involving the use of technology, the continuous development of creative talents combined with best-in-class production discipline and the application of strategic design thinking.

In 2017, with a passion for storytelling, Bonnie co-founded Studio SV with Grammy-winning hip hop artist, Lupe Fiasco. The studio produces original content bridging cultures and innovates to create entertainment with brand integration opportunities.

Bonnie received the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award in 2018.

Bonnie graduated from University of Oxford. She is a Fellow of the China Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Hong Kong born and raised. Jam was on the way to being a successful IT manager, but advertising got in his way, so he joined an agency. He started in local and independent agencies and then moved to one of the biggest networks in the world (and oldest) – JWT. He has been there for seven years and lead a team as their creative director. He has had the chance to work for local, regional and global brands in different formats/channels. Passion for great work keeps him going, especially when it gets recognized in awards. When he is not thinking of ideas, he is jamming with his guitar (his son happens to be his biggest fan).

Dr. Wu Shih Chia currently teaches in the post-graduate Corporate Communication Program at the School of Journalism and Communication, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her recent research interests focus on millennials media usage behavior, social media influence, corporate social responsibility (CSR), brand management and fashion marketing.

A marketing and communication expert with 20 years industry experience, Dr. Wu is specialized in brand building, luxury industry management, corporate communication, strategic planning, digital PR and crisis communication. Dr. Wu used to work for Chanel Taiwan as the General Manager of Communication and other multi-national corporations, including P&G, Chrysler and Leo Burnett, as a senior management executive and as a corporate spokesperson. Also, she is a columnist in fashion marketing, a speaker and a trainer in brand management and communication, and a business consultant to organizations. She frequently receives media interviews and serves as a judge/reviewer for various professional activities.
