The 19th edition of Eco Expo Asia was successfully held from 30 October to 2 November 2024 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, and co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), this year’s event attracted over 8,500 buyers from 94 countries and regions, and over 300 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions, showcasing a wide variety of cutting-edge environmental products and technologies. Eco Expo Asia once again proved to be a vital platform for advancing green innovation and fostering international business collaboration.

The 26th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), the 9th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo, and the 19th Eco Expo Asia, jointly organised by HKTDC, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), have come to a successful conclusion. The three exhibitions attracted some 60,000 buyers from 150 countries and regions, signifying Hong Kong’s status as an international conference and exhibition centre.

The Secretary for Environment and Ecology, Mr Tse Chin-wan, today (November 2) attended the Dialogue with the Secretary for Environment and Ecology session on the public day of the 19th Eco Expo Asia to exchange views on the beauty of Hong Kong's ecology and various environmental matters with some 400 young people from various schools and uniformed groups.

The 19th Eco Expo Asia is being held at AsiaWorld-Expo from today (October 30) to November 2. The theme of the Expo this year is "Fostering Green Innovations for Carbon Neutrality". About 190 officials from around 40 official delegations from various cities and provinces in Mainland China, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Belt and Road countries have been invited, bringing together international exhibitors, industry professionals to showcase cutting-edge green solutions, exchange views and share experiences.
