<ul><li>To support and accelerate new and start-up enterprises on executing ideas in recycling businesses</li><li>To encourage adoption of innovative technologies, ideas, equipment, etc. to facilitate or enhance efficiency of recycling related operations</li><li>To establish operations in upcycling or recycling of recyclables to new or innovative products in commercial scale</li><li>Grants for each project will cover as much as 50% of supported expenditure with a cap of HK$500,000</li></ul>

Industry Support Programme provides funding support for non-profit distributing organisations to undertake projects for enhancing the operational standards and productivity of the recycling industry. The funding may cover up to 100% of approved expenditure items depending on the merits of the case. The amount of funding will be capped at $15 million per project.

Relocation Rental Support Project encourages recyclers to relocate from existing operation sites including street-corner shops and other improper sites to appropriate operation sites such as industrial buildings or lands zoned for industrial purpose. Funding would be granted on a matching basis, i.e. the Government will cover a maximum of 50% of the total approved project cost and the applicant has to contribute no less than 50% of the total approved project cost. The funding ceiling for each RRSP application is HK$15 million.

Standard Project - $1M subsidies recyclers to purchase various machinery to upgrade their capability in processing recyclables (including waste paper, waste plastics, waste metals, food waste and waste wood) and producing recycled materials or products. The funding ceiling for each Standard Project application is HK$1 million or 50% of the approved total project expenditure, whichever is lower.

Enterprise Support Programme subsidies recyclers to upgrade and expand recycling operations and produce recycled products. Funding would be provided on a matching basis, i.e. the Government will cover a maximum of 50% of the total approved project cost and the enterprise has to contribute no less than 50% of the total approved project cost. Funding support will be granted to each enterprise for a maximum of ten approved projects and the cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise is $15 million.
