The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a collaborative organization launched jointly by CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The organization is dedicated to defining and promoting science-based emission reduction targets and best practices, providing resources and guidance to overcome related barriers, and conducting independent third-party assessments of carbon neutrality goals set by companies.
