Cattle that produces Kirishima Sanroku milk are from the southernmost Japan, amidst the natural region surrounding the Kirish mountain range in southern Kyushu. It is produced by cows reared with deep affection by the region's dairy farmers. After being processed, the raw milk becomes shelf stable.
