Gifts Fair and Printing Fair attract about 67,000 buyers, up 4%
Survey shows trade negotiations and Brexit having minimal export impact
The 34th HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), welcomed close to 50,000 buyers during the four-day fair period (27 to 30 April)

The Hong Kong Exporters' Association assembled around 170 local companies to form three zones – Isle of Originality, Brand Oasis and Smart Design HK – at this year’s Gifts & Premium Fair, demonstrating the design skills and branding excellence of Hong Kong’s product designers. Also on display were the winning works from the latest Hong Kong Smart Design Awards, highlighting the creativity and flair of local talents
Multiple national and regional pavilions were featured at the Gifts & Premium Fair, including a debut pavilion jointly presented by the Hong Kong-Nepalese Business Association and the Consulate General of Nepal, Hong Kong. The pavilion featured local speciality crafts and herbal products to help Nepalese SMEs enter the international market
The Mainland China Pavilion at the Gifts & Premium Fair showcased exquisite products from such regions as Jingdezhen (Jiangxi Province), Nanjing, Cangnan, Baoying, Hunan, Shangyu and Ninghai
Various seminars and networking events were organised during the Gifts & Premium Fair. At one of the buyer forums, Xiao Tonghao, Business Development Director of Suning, examined the ways to “Unlock Cross-border Business Potential in the Greater Bay Area with e-Commerce Platform”. The session was well received by exhibitors and buyers alike
More than 17,000 buyers attended the 14th Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, jointly organised by the HKTDC and CIEC Exhibition Co (HK) Ltd, which featured different thematic zones to showcase a wide range of printing and packaging solutions.
