	<li>Biomedical Technology Support Center (BSC) has a total floor space of about 8,700 sq. ft.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>It is a central facility, which comprises Freeze Dryer, Mass Spectrometers, Fluorescence / Confocal microscopes, DNA Sequencers, Sample Preparation equipment, Luminex, HPLC, FPLC, Flow Cytometers, Microbiology Laboratory, Cell Culture Room and Server Room.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>We provide more than 60 pieces of ready-to-use life sciences instruments for shared RnD use. In addition to the laboratory instruments, BSC also provides University Advanced Laboratory Equipment Collaboration Programme (an extended laboratory instrument service) and Convenience Laboratory Product Purchase Plan (CLPPP - a common laboratory consumable stock room service).</li>

The BSC was opened in March 2009 to serve the biotech cluster in the areas of therapeutics, medical devices and diagnostics, Chinese medicine, regenerative medicine, molecular tools and reagents. Today, BSC has a total floor space of about 8,700 sq.ft. It is a central facility, which comprises workstation/utility room, culture room, dark room, mass spectrometry laboratory, microscope room, genomics laboratory, proteomics laboratory, bioanalysis laboratory, microbiology laboratory, and server room.

    <li>We provide more than 60 pieces of ready-to-use life sciences instruments for shared R&amp;D use.</li>
    <li>In addition to the laboratory instruments, BSC also offers world-class laboratory information management system (LIMS), university advanced laboratory equipment collaboration program (an extended laboratory instrument service), and convenience laboratory product purchase plan (CLPPP, a common laboratory consumable stock room service) to the life science community.</li>

These ready-to-use lab units are designed for life sciences R&amp;D in a size from 700 to 1400 sq.ft. Laboratory utility provisions include nitrogen, carbon dioxide, vacuum, compressed air, and purified water (1M ohms). The laboratory spaces are provided with high capacity electricity supply (355VA/sqm) and standby power (77W/sqm/12hr).

    <li>Each unit is equipped with individual air handling unit for standard usage and under negative pressure.</li>
    <li>Fume exhaust and chemical drains are pre-installed.</li>
    <li>Access to shared equipment in biotech support laboratory.</li>

<p>The two laboratory buildings are designed for life sciences R&amp;D with a total lettable area of approx. 200,000sq.ft. (18,580sq.m.). The ground floors are for development labs with designed live load of 15kPa and floor height of 7m (4.7m under E/M interstitial floor). The other floors are for research labs with designed live load of 7.5kPa and floor height of 5.45m (3.15m under E/M interstitial floor).</p>

    <li>Laboratory utility provisions include nitrogen, carbon dioxide, vacuum, compressed air, and purified water (1M ohms).</li>
    <li>The laboratory spaces are provided with high capacity electricity supply (355VA/sqm) and standby power (77W/sqm/12hr).</li>
    <li>Each basic tenant unit is equipped with individual air handling unit for standard usage.</li>
    <li>Additional space is provided for tenants to add capacity as needed.</li>
    <li>Ductwork and provisions for fume exhaust and pipework for chemical drains are pre-installed.</li>
