Passive Infrared Sensor
An alternative to sensor pads in bed monitoring. The PIR alarm has a thin, curtain-like motion detector beam, which monitors a narrow area beside the bed. When the beam is interrupted, the sensor detects motion and triggers the alarm. As with all contactless devices there are no infection control issue.
