These N95 respirators have the BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) of 99% and more, according to ASTM F2101. However, the masks are effective against all kinds of non-oil aerosol particles with up to 95% efficiency.
The N95 respirator has passed ASTM F1862 (ATSM international standard testing method for resistance of medical face mask to penetration by synthetic blood), which means it is fluid-resistant.
