We are in charge of the French Pavilion at InnoEX, gathering around 40 French companies and more than 25 startups.
InnoEX, as a visibility platform, allows us to promote France as an innovative country and brings together French companies already established in Hong Kong and those new to this region. For example, WeMaintain, a recent addition to our pavilion, has just established itself in Hong Kong.
We have been part of InnoEX from the beginning and we have returned every year with more companies. Last year, we had 30 companies; this year, we have over 40. InnoEX has had an increasing growth with the number of connections or countries, and being more international. Our companies have generated more than 60-70 contacts each with partners from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, and others, from officials to buyers and experts, making it a good platform for all kinds of contacts.
Companies here showcase solutions and products, from automotive technologies to services. Some of them have made connections, while others got clients and finalised contracts.
The companies have facilitated connections and business-to-business meetings through the HKTDC Click2Match platform and our network, which attracted people to the French Pavilion. We also ran a seminar yesterday with 400 attendees, including decision-makers, buyers, and universities.

We aim to explore markets in Southeast Asia and the Gulf countries, initiating cooperative discussions with both local and global enterprises, for which the fair provides a valuable opportunity.
We are launching our globalisation strategy. To achieve this objective, we not only seek to promote our technology globally but also need to examine legal and regulatory issues related to the low-altitude economy, for which Hong Kong presents an ideal scenario. Under the “one country, two systems” policy, Hong Kong, as a common law jurisdiction, positions us favourably. Additionally, Hong Kong's multilingual environment allows us to develop international guidelines, regulations, and measures for our global expansion.
Hong Kong plans to implement pilot schemes for the low-altitude economy development, and we are eager to participate. We wish to contribute to Hong Kong citizens and the city's economy while showcasing Mainland China’s advancements in the low-altitude economy to the world through Hong Kong.

This is my first time at InnoEX, I’m impressed by the exceptional innovation here—many solutions, especially ones focusing on AI, are world-leading and beyond just American or European solutions. Our mission starts with building safer communities and we have identified 6 exhibitors, namely Veolia, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls Security Products, OneAsia Network Limited, and Dowe Boonyanurak, with potential orders reaching USD 100,000.
At InnoEX, we’ve captured 87 leads, formed 3 significant global partnerships from Hong Kong’s Smart City Consortium to Finnish delegates, and others seeking partnership. We’ve received overwhelming interest in membership, training, accelerator programs, and startups, and our expertise in trade and investment helps members enter markets like the US or Australia by connecting them with partners, grants, and projects. The international interest at this fair reflects confidence in Hong Kong’s position and unique model.
The event is exceptionally well-organised—spacious, well-signed, with a strong mix of government, private sector, and startup participation. As someone who attends similar events weekly, I applaud the execution at InnoEX especially at the Startup Zone or other communication platforms. We’re already planning an expanded presence next year. An excellent event overall.

We are Guangzhou High Torque Technology, established in 2022 as a high-tech enterprise and humanoid robot company based in Guangzhou. This time, we brought two lightweight miniature robots, hoping to help developers reduce barriers to entry and research.
We aim to leverage Hong Kong's geographical and talent advantages to expand our company's influence. As a representative enterprise of Guangdong, we seek to showcase the development and product strengths of mainland Chinese robot companies to international partners and exchange experiences with other exhibitors.
Currently, we are focusing on the North American market, in addition, we hope to penetrate markets in Southeast Asia, Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
Our company is currently negotiating the settlement of an order with a buyer from Brazil who is interested in purchasing 5 to 10 robots, priced at USD 9,000 each, for a total order value ranging from USD 50,000 to 100,000. We have also engaged with nearly 200 potential customers, primarily in the service and education sectors, from regions such as Hong Kong, Mainland China, and North America. I believe this exhibition has effectively helped our company achieve its goals.

Hong Kong is a great place to do business. What I'm trying to say to technology companies back in the UK is to go to the Far East and you'll find partners, investors and suppliers who you can really trust. Business is about trust and loyalty.
It's one of these deals where it will massively increase the speed of adoption in the Philippines. The Philippine market is now coming on board and absolutely accelerating forward. The partner we're starting to deal with is so deeply embedded in the sector that that's where we'll grow the business very, very quickly over there.
We have companies from all over the world right beside us here as you can see. You can get business done not just in Hong Kong, and also with Poland, UAE, and France. It's the connections. It's a great connector. I'm quite sure that from what we've seen this week, the orders are going to be USD 2-3,000,000. I've got at least 80 meetings so far in three days. We've got one more day to go. It has been relentless. The connections are just incalculable right now.
Vertaxi is a Shanghai-based company focused on electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Our primary objective today is to present our products to clients from around the world, including the Middle East and Central Asia.
At the fair, we engaged in constructive discussions with local government officials and numerous potential buyers, establishing connections with around 30 prospects.
The fair has broadened our horizons and allowed us to explore new markets, such as sightseeing services in Thailand, which we learned about through our conversations with buyers. This is our first time attending InnoEX, and we find it to be a fantastic platform with high traffic that connects us to the global market.

For me, the most important task at InnoEX is to identify the right government technologies, particularly in the area of smart cities. At this fair, we secured a deal for technology distributorship in the smart city sector. We will begin with a pilot program involving several developers in the Philippines, with the expectation of expanding into other emerging markets.
We also have an upcoming project related to the correctional system, so we were pleased to see a prison technology exhibit at the fair. This niche field highlights the depth and breadth of InnoEX.
This is my third time visiting InnoEX, and I can see it improving each year. From my previous visits, I felt well-supported by the Hong Kong government and local private sector partners, which motivated me to return this year.

I represent Industry Platform Private Limited, a Singapore-based growth consultancy connecting Southeast Asian enterprises with technology solution providers.
At this fair, I have seen quite a number of good technologies and companies who have shown interest to come into Southeast Asia and do business with the enterprises. So I see great potential to connect these technology companies with our stakeholders in Southeast Asia. Today, I’ve already connected with 8-12 promising suppliers from Mainland China. They are companies offering AI capabilities and cybersecurity solutions. I think it would be great to make 3-5 deals through these connections.
It’s my first time at InnoEX, but the company, I think this is the second or third time we have attended. We keep coming back because there are a lot of opportunities to connect with technology vendors and also very good networking. The exhibition is very well organized and the whole experience is very seamless. The space is properly organized and the interaction with the vendors, technologies, solution providers, are also very good. There are a lot of options, so the booths are not always very crowded, because visitors can go to different groups at different times. Actually, I like the experience a lot, so I will come back again.

I connected with about 10 to 12 suppliers from Hong Kong, Canada, and France. The fair is well attended and I noticed a lot of AI innovations from Mainland China at the fair that I wouldn’t typically see elsewhere. It’s particularly interesting to see how companies are integrating AI into green sustainability efforts.
I plan to engage with a Canadian company I connected with today, and I had a productive conversation with the CEO. Face-to-face communication at the fair is invaluable. For a potential deal, I may invest several hundred thousand US dollars.
In-person interactions are irreplaceable. I truly believe it's essential to look people in the eye, explain concepts, and demonstrate products.
Overall, I think the exhibition has been excellent. Without HKTDC, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. HKTDC is doing an outstanding job.

We are exploring data analytics and centres, or IoT systems for projects related to operational management, such as security systems at InnoEX.
We are also looking into AI and robots, like cleaning robots and reception robots, to address high staff turnover. So far, we have allocated approximately Thai Baht 10-12,000,000 (USD 303,000 - 363,000) for the projects and connected with over 10 contacts from Mainland China, Hong Kong, the UK, France, and Australia. If discussions progress, the budget could scale significantly based on vendor quotations and further evaluation.
The fair was very useful and enabled us to connect with relevant suppliers from all over the world, and to help us find what we are looking for.

I am the Secretary General of the Department of Information Science Studies at Dalian University of Technology. Driven by our ambition to foster talent and serve society, we attend numerous exhibitions to learn about cutting-edge technology from enterprises. Our goal is to apply our academic research in the industry while drawing inspiration for our research from market needs.
I can summarise my impression of InnoEX with three words: international, adaptive, and connective. This is my second time attending InnoEX, and I’ve noticed that the fair has become increasingly international, attracting buyers from around the world. This is particularly valuable in today’s global trading environment. During the fair, I established a network with new contacts from all around the world, including Australia, Canada, mainland China, and Southeast Asia. I added around 100 contacts during the past two days.
I noticed numerous exhibitors in the low-altitude economy, such as Aerofugia, which impressed me greatly. They are global technological leaders in this field, and we are excited to connect with such outstanding enterprises at the fair.
Last year at InnoEX, I ordered two sets of equipment from Godo Innovation Technology, valued at RMB 1.2 million (USD 164,560) each. We don't have a budget limit and are eager to make purchases from exhibitors this year. I will definitely attend InnoEX again in the future.
