SOTI is the leader of mobility management for the past 27 years. We've been helping customers to overcome their mobility challenges, making it simpler, faster and more reliable. We’re here for business development, brand awareness and to gain strategic partnerships in this region. We’ve met with a few hardware vendors, and new potential customers and discussed how we can work together in the future. Hong Kong, China and Canada have always been very strong business partners and Hong Kong plays a very critical role when it comes to dealing with businesses in China. There are a lot of cutting-edge innovations you can see at the show that you’re unable to find elsewhere. It’d be great to learn something from here and bring it back to Canada.

Our focus this year for the French Pavilion is sustainability. There are 35+ companies, both big corporates and startups. We are here to foster the link between HK, GBA and France and showcase French technology. France and HK face similar challenges such as rental issues and smart cities. With this platform, we’re able to think of solutions together. It creates a lot of synergies to find new leads and collaboration. InnoEX symbolises exactly what we wanted to do, HKTDC has the right setup and digital approach towards different clients and conferences, we like it very much. We chose the theme “France in the Game” because Paris is going through a big transformation to host the Olympics. It’s the perfect timing for collaborations and witnessing how innovation can change the spirit of thought in a way.

We are a virtual reality AI company based in Songjiang, Shanghai and the core product we are exhibiting is the 2nd generation VR glasses. This exhibition has been very successful for us and has fully achieved our goals to promote the brand to audiences in HK and all over the world, and allow more people to experience VR products from Shanghai. We have received high praise and positive feedback from visitors at home and abroad as well as orders from different countries including Japan, Canada, USA, Indonesia, Singapore etc., in addition to the hundreds of new leads accumulated through enquiries. I think this exhibition is excellent. I am very grateful to the HKTDC for organising it and all the staff for their dedication. We hope to come to Hong Kong again next year to participate in this I&T event and bring our latest products to the global audience and consumers.

We are the AID Lab (Artificial Intelligence Design Institute) jointly established by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Royal College of Art. Our vision is to combine human design and artificial intelligence to improve the quality and function of products. We hope that through this exhibition, people from all walks of life, especially investors, will be aware of our research results, so as to obtain investment. As a research institute, we mainly focus on scientific research, in order to open up more markets to attract investors. This exhibition gave us a very good stepping stone, allowing us to display our research results more easily and attract investors to have further discussions with them.

I’m working on the smart city business section so I’m here to find good solutions and good partners relating to my business. I’ve met with 3-4 companies with very good potential. They’re from Asian countries including China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. I’m very interested in metaverse communication and cloud technology. I think they have a lot of potential. It’s great to be in Hong Kong. I like everything at this event and I’ll definitely join again next year.

Digital Pilipinas is the largest private sector-led movement for creating technology ecosystems in the Philippines. We've always looked at the partnership with HKTDC as an important bridge into North Asia and China. Despite the lockdown and closure the past two to three years, one of the most important relationships that we have maintained throughout the pandemic actually started with HKTDC. We’re very happy that Philippine start-ups had the opportunity to present themselves to investors. InnoEX is the largest technology and innovation show in Hong Kong and there’s absolutely no way we’re going to miss it. I was really impressed by the breadth of technologies it pertains, especially to smart cities. InnoEX really reinforced the leadership of Hong Kong in APAC.

Innovation comes from social needs whereas technology always comes from humanity. Whether it is AI, tech commercialisation or smart city, they all come under this principle and in the purpose of city development in future decades. Hong Kong is a very advanced city. It has potential to develop into a smart city as it’s better than other cities in terms of investment in high-quality talents, software and hardware design. I feel very satisfied with my first time attending InnoEX as it is complete in terms of Imagination, Creation and Application.

We aim to improve the quality of life in Phuket by focusing on city transportation and the development of a smart city. InnoEX is a great place for inspiration. It enables me to apply their refined innovations to my existing smart city model. We've met with 3 suppliers from China, all of them have high potential, and match our objectives well. This fair is really important to us. It builds a bridge to chat face-to-face and to see the real products. Virtual meetings during the pandemic are too limited. It’s my first time to join the fair and I’ll be back for sure. Everything here is satisfying, especially vendor supply.

I believe the most important thing about creating a smart city is the citizens. We might know the technology and solutions, but we have to make sure the people who live in the city are part of the solution. We want to address the problems in the right way, and help citizens become smart citizens. InnoEX is very important to us, we can see what solutions others offer and how we can take it one step beyond. I was in Hong Kong 4 years ago and couldn’t wait to come back again. Hong Kong is always known for being innovative, flexible and happy to adapt to new ways.

Smart city means to create a smart life and better life. We are all part of society, so we should all work together to create a better place - to make it more secure, convenient and sustainable using the latest technology. The next big thing in tech must be AI. Research shows AI can help society develop in all aspects. Asia is the perfect place for innovation. It is diversified, populated and rich in resources. Most importantly it is not afraid of trying new things. I am very excited about InnoEX, it helps show Hong Kong to the world once again. I believe InnoEX can be the next CES.

The most important thing when it comes to a smarter city is to be citizen centric. It has to make sense for problems you're trying to solve for citizens. I believe that in technology, AI and smart cities, everything good comes out of conversations and collaborations. That's why InnoEX is so interesting, both excellent in the displays that I've seen and exposing people to smart city innovations, and also some of the other speakers and key topics the regulators that are taking an interest in. InnoEX is really trying to promote it in the city, but also govern it properly. I’ve been really inspired.

When you are building a smart city, you have to tailor it for people’s wants and needs, and you also need to be aware of climate change. There is no good in creating a smart city, if the city will be under the water. Next most important thing is to put in place smart resilient infrastructure. From the business leaders perspective, you have to unlearn everything you have learnt and explore all the different opportunities and threats. InnoEX is a wonderful place to bring people together for collaborative insightful discussions. The technology and science offered at InnoEX have been truly world-class.
