Bob has over 40 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, International Trade, Cross Border Logistics and Customs Regulations and procedures. He has led trade logistics missions to Hong Kong and China, SE Asia and USA, and has extensive experience assisting Canadian companies to find new sources of supply and/or customers for their products while ensuring their goods are moved cost effectively, efficiently with visibility and supply chain resilience to and from global markets. He is a leader in Canada for the Belt and Road Initiative speaking at seminars and leading Canadian Missions to the Belt and Road Summits in Hong Kong. Bob is a known national and international speaker, author, and expert on issues related to International Trade, Cross-Border Logistics, the Global Supply Chain, and Customs and Security issues. Ms Cissy Chan Ching-sze was appointed as Executive Director, Commercial of Airport Authority of Hong Kong in September 2012.

Ms Chan oversees the commercial development of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). She is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies and identifying potential high-quality tenants and operators for the airport's commercial portfolio, which spans retail, advertising and aviation logistics. She also leads the commercial division in managing and growing revenue targets while maintaining a high standard of commercial offerings at the airport to enhance the passenger travel experience.

Ms Chan has a wealth of general management experience gained from local and multinational organisations, particularly in partnership development, negotiation and managing commercial alliances. Before joining the Airport Authority, Ms Chan was the Director, Retail Portfolio & Marketing at Hysan Development Company Ltd. Prior to that, she held senior positions in multi-national companies including Reckitt Benckiser (Hong Kong/ Taiwan) and Johnson & Johnson Hong Kong. She is also an MBA graduate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Thomas is responsible for the development of Autonomous Self Driving Vehicle in Science Park and has close relationship with relevant Authority to push forward such development in Hong Kong. He committed to build an ecosystem in Hong Kong to drive development in Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He firmly believes that the future of Hong Kong rides on the success of this ecosystem.

Thomas holds an Engineering Degree from the Victoria University of Technology, Australia and an MBA from the City University of Hong Kong. He is a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and also served as the President of ASHRAE Hong Kong Branch (2014-2015). Thomas is also a life member of AEE and a Certified Energy Manager.

As of January 1st, 2017, Mike Fang is appointed as Vice President, Head of Greater China and is based in Shanghai, China.

Before this appointment, he was the Head of Sales in Greater China, Head of East & Central China and North China before three China Clusters and Taiwan were merged into Great China Cluster in Jan 2016.

Mr Fang came on-board “the Blue Ship” as a Sales Representative in 1994 and was quickly promoted to Sales Manager during the same year. He then held a variety of management positions across several locations in China. He also served as Key Client Director for Maersk Inc in the United States from 2006 to 2008.

More than 22 years of practical experience in sales and management in Maersk Line have formed a solid foundation for his current position. His diverse working experience accumulated from working all over China and overseas has provided him with an in-depth and localized know-how, a globalized perspective, and a keen insight into the shipping industry.

Mr Fang graduated from the Hua Zhong University of Science & Technology with a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering in 1992 and earned an Executive MBA from the exclusive China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2004.

Ms Margaret Fong is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) since 1 October 2014. With a global network of over 40 offices, Ms Fong heads this international team whose mission is to create and facilitate opportunities in global trade for Hong Kong-based companies. She joined the HKTDC in 2010 as Deputy Executive Director, responsible for the international promotion of Hong Kong’s product and service industries and the Council’s office network worldwide.

Ms Fong has worked in a variety of public service posts, beginning her career as an Administrative Officer with the Hong Kong Government. From 1997 to 1999, she served as Deputy Director-General in the Washington Economic and Trade Office of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

She was Deputy Secretary for Transport from 1999 to 2004, Director-General of the Washington Economic and Trade Office from 2004 to 2006, and Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, USA, from 2006 to 2008, representing the Hong Kong SAR Government in the United States. Before joining the HKTDC, Ms Fong was the Commissioner for Tourism from November 2008 to the end of 2009. She is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong.

Ms Fong is a member of the Aviation Development and Three-runway System Advisory Committee, the Hong Kong Maritime Industry Council, the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board, the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Financial Services Development Council.

Since 90s, Ms Ho has set up Asia Pacific supply chain management for various multi-national corporations. She has introduced supply chain strategies from procurement balancing, production optimization, value-added logistics and efficient customer services level. The standard amongst Asian countries such as Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia,Singapore and China has been uplifted, processes have been optimized and support sales growth. Ms Ho currently leading the supply chain consultancy team, has been trained over 800 trainees, spoke over supply chain for government, industry associations or companies, supported various government projects and different cross countries supply chain improvement projects. She is also lecturing at the University of Hong Kong and Vocation Training Council on supply chain and logistics management.

Jack represents the fourth generation of a family shipping business legacy dating back to Charles Eddie Hsu, who founded Eddie Steamship in Shanghai nearly a century ago. His late grandfather, V. K. In 1992, Jack's father, Steve established Oak Maritime (Hong Kong) Inc Limited, which has become the corporate headquarters of the Oak Maritime Group ('the Group'). The Group manages a diversified portfolio of assets, including its core business of shipping, consisting of 20 bulkers and tankers with an aggregate tonnage in excess of 3.5 million deadweight tonnes, and an average age of about 7.6 years.

Jack is currently Managing Director of Oak Maritime (Hong Kong) Inc Limited, President of Sincere Navigation Corporation (which is the Hsu family controlled stock-listed company in Taiwan), and CEO of OSS Capital (which is the Family Office). Jack is also Chairman of Hong Kong Shipowners Association, and has been a member of the Members' Representative Committee of Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association Limited since 2003. Mr Kelley is the Vice President of Operations at MSA Security.

He is a 24-year veteran of the Connecticut State Police Department, Mr Kelley served as Commanding Officer/Executive Officer of the Connecticut State Police Emergency Services Unit which was comprised of the Tactical Team, Bomb Squad, Weapons of Mass Destruction Response Unit, Dive Team, Canine Unit, and Aviation Unit.

While serving as the Commanding Officer, Mr Kelley was responsible for coordinating the State and Federal response to WMD/Bombing events for the public and private sectors, with the goal of protecting state citizens and assets from injury and damage.

As a Bomb Squad commander, he was a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force. He is a subject matter expert for the National Center for Security and Preparedness in the area of Advanced Active Shooter and IED Response for First Responders and Investigators.

He has also traveled to active shooter sites and met with first responders and survivors from some of this country’s worst active shooter incidents including: Aurora CO, Newtown CT, Tucson AZ, Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Chardon High School, Chardon OH.

Mrs Carrie Lam joined the Administrative Service of the Hong Kong Government in August 1980 and rose to the rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade A1 in September 2006. She became a Principal Official on July 1, 2007 when she was appointed Secretary for Development. She was appointed Chief Secretary for Administration on July 1, 2012.

Mrs Lam has served the public for more than 36 years in 20 public service positions including Director of Social Welfare, Permanent Secretary for Housing, Planning and Lands (Planning and Lands), Director-General of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in London, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs, Secretary for Development and Chief Secretary for Administration.

Mrs Lam was elected as the Fifth-Term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on March 26, 2017, and was officially appointed to this position by the Central People’s Government on March 31, 2017 to assume office on July 1, 2017.

Mrs Lam is married and has two sons.

After graduating from university, Mr LAU joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1979 as an Inspector of Police. He attended the Stanford University Executive Program in 1998. During his distinguished and highly successful Police career, he had participated in many major security operations including the Atlanta (USA) Olympics in 1996, WTO Ministerial Conference 6 in 2005 and Beijing Olympics in 2008. He joined AVSECO in May 2010 as Deputy Executive Director, after he retired from the Police Force in 2009 in the rank of Assistant Commissioner.

After he took over the post of Executive Director of AVSECO in June 2013, Mr Lau, through dynamic management and thoughtful leadership, has brought about a major paradigm shift within the organisation. He has made significant contributions in many aspects including reinforcing AVSECO’s status as a world-class aviation security service provider, strengthening corporate governance, enhancing staff development opportunities and improving financial stability. At present, one of his major priorities is to provide support to the industry and government in meeting the ICAO 2021 enhanced cargo screening requirements.

He was a member of the High Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI) since 2001, serving as the HLTF-EI Chair in 2017. He was Brunei Darussalam’s Chief Negotiator for the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP), as well as for the P4, precursor to the TPP negotiations. Previously, he was also the Co-Chair during the negotiations for the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA), and also served as Brunei Darussalam’s Chief Negotiator for the Brunei Darussalam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (BJEPA).

From June 2011-2017, he was the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). He was also on the External Advisory Board for the ASEAN 2030 Study being undertaken by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

He entered the Government Service as an education officer in 1977 and served as principal of a Secondary School from 1981 – 1985. From February 2001 – July 2005, he was appointed as Director-General, International Relations and Trade Development, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources. In September 2005, he was appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He graduated from the City of London Polytechnic in BSc (Hons) Economics in 1976 and received his Post Graduate Certificate of Education in 1977.

He was awarded The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei, second Class (DPMB) in 2007. He is married with two sons.

Mr Reardon oversees all aspects of the company’s domestic and international intermodal and automotive activities, as well as freight forwarding services in North America and Asia, and CN’s regional sales groups.

Prior to his appointment, he had been Vice-President of Intermodal and Automotive since January of 2017. In 2012, Mr Reardon was named Vice-President of Intermodal Services. In 2009, Mr Reardon was appointed Vice-President of Supply Chain Solutions, where he was responsible for the Automotive and Iron Ore business units and CN’s non-rail transportation services including transloading, freight forwarding and warehousing, just to name a few. He also directed many supply chain and business development initiatives for CN – working closely with CN customers and partners. Previously, he was Assistant Vice-President of CN Transloading Operations, where he managed more than 80 CN-owned warehousing and distribution facilities.

Karen Reddington is President of Asia Pacific Division of FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company.

In this role, which Reddington took up in January 2015, she heads up Asia Pacific from its headquarters in Hong Kong. Reddington is responsible for leading the FedEx Express business across the region, including overall planning and implementation of corporate strategies and operations across more than 30 countries and territories with about 29,000 employees.

Reddington’s career with FedEx Express began in 1997 as an Operations Research Advisor in Hong Kong. In 2002, she was appointed Managing Director, Network Planning. In 2007, she assumed the role of Managing Director of Planning and Engineering.

Most recently, Reddington was Regional Vice President, South Pacific. She served in that role between 2011 and 2014.

Reddington is currently serving as the Board Chair of JA Asia Pacific as well as being on the Board of Governors of JA Worldwide. In addition, she serves as the Secretary of the International Women’s Forum and also sits on the Board of Governors of the America Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Over his 24 years career Derek has successfully undertaken numerous roles in commercial and operational functions of the business. This experience across the business and industry has seen him effectively engage customers and internal colleagues to identify the needs and generate value.

In recent years Derek has had several management positions in customer service, line management and sales, and previous to this role the Australian Sales Director based in Sydney. Moving to Hong Kong in Jan 2016 to join the regional team, Derek took up the role with the goal to improve the value of our key client programme to our customers, to ensure a consistent and strong growth of business together.

The Maersk Line Key Client programme aims to build a partnership with our core key clients, with a long term view to how we can generate value together, in a sustainable and profitable manner.

Dr Martin Stopford is a graduate of Oxford University and has a PhD in International Economics from London University. During his 45 years in the Maritime Industry he has held positions as Director of Business Development at British Shipbuilders; Global Shipping Economist with Chase Manhattan Bank N.A.; Chief Executive of Lloyds Maritime Information Services and Executive Director of Clarksons PLC.

Dr Stopford is Non-Executive President of Clarkson Research Services Limited (CRSL) and Director of MarEcon Ltd, an e-learning business. He is visiting Professor at Cass Business School, Dalian Maritime University and Newcastle University and has an Honorary Doctorate from Solent University. His publications include “Maritime Economics” 3rd Ed, the widely-used shipping textbook (2009), now translated into Japanese, Greek, Portuguese, Turkish and Chinese. Also, many papers on shipping economics and ship finance.

He received various awards: Lloyds List Lifetime Achievement Award 2010; Seatrade Global Shipping Personality of the Year 2013; Onassis Prize for Shipping 2015, and Capital Link Shipping Leadership Award 2016.

As part of his duties, Alexandre Tarini is responsible for planning the production of all plants, purchasing meat, packaging and dry matter, distribution centers, inventory management and local, national and international transport. He is also responsible for customer service, for which he focuses on excellence.

Prior to joining Olymel, he has distinguished himself in various industries such as fermented beverages, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meats and pharmaceuticals, for leading organizations such as Lallemand Inc., MolsonCoors and Metro Richelieu.

He has successfully completed many achievements such as the negotiation of collective agreements, the establishment of a logistics division in Europe, the construction of distribution centers and the merging of distribution networks, to name but a few. He has used his rich expertise acquired during his career, to develop strong professional relationships with our business partners as well as our internal and external customers.

Clarksons Platou, a FTSE 250 company, is a global leader of maritime brokerage and investment banking.

Henriette leads vital innovation in gathering and analysing dry bulk shipping market intelligence essential to such a diversified business and serves many multi-national clients around the world. Her experience is wide-ranging across the lifecycle of ships, from financing through to procurement, trading and demolition.

Prior to joining Clarksons, she consulted in maritime transport matters for the South African government. She also instituted and lead the Unit for Maritime Studies at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in collaboration with international universities to enhance student’s perspective and to explore synergies.
