-Microwave Radiometer - Temperature / Humidity Profiles-<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; display: inline !important; float: none;">RPG's profiling radiometers are mainly used to derive vertical profiles of atmospheric temperature and humidity (RPG-HATPRO). The infrared radiometer extension allows to cloud base height and ice cloud detection. The radiometer series covers high-resolution temperature profiling of the boundary layer and low-humidity applications. All models of the series provide accurate total amounts of atmospheric water vapor and cloud liquid cloud. RPG radiometers are stand-alone systems for automated weather-station use under nearly all environmental conditions. A variety of retrieval algorithms (custom designed and global standard algorithms) can be selected.

-Visibility LiDAR-Based on Mie Scattering Principle. The system emits laser pulses into the atmosphere and detects the backscattered signals generated by aerosols. Using the LiDAR equation, it derives key optical properties, such as extinction coefficient, visibility, boundary layer height, optical depth, cloud characteristics, and particulate matter concentration.

-Temperature / Humidity LiDAR-Based on the Raman-Mie scattering detection principle, the laser emitted by the LiDAR interacts with molecules such as nitrogen and water vapor in the atmosphere, generating vibrational-rotational Raman scattering. The Raman scattering signals from water vapor and nitrogen molecules are used to retrieve the vertical profile of the atmospheric water vapor mixing ratio, while the rotational Raman scattering signals from high and low quantum numbers are employed to retrieve the vertical distribution of atmospheric temperature.

-Cloud Radar W-Ka Band-The RPG-FMCW 35/94 (Ka/W) radar is a microwave instrument for the detection of cloud particles. It emits continuous microwave power at 35 and 94 GHz and detects the reflected power from cloud droplets, rain droplets, ice and snow particles. The evaluation of the Doppler frequency shift from falling particles enables the radar to determine a velocity spectrum. The cloud radar provides vertical profiles of the radar reflectivity factor with high temporal (~1 s) and spatial resolution (down to 1 m). These profiles contain information about cloud geometry.

-Multi-wavelength Aerosol LiDAR-Based on the principles of Mie scattering and Raman detection, the system emits laser beams into the atmosphere to accurately measure atmospheric aerosol optical properties (including extinction coefficient, backscattering coefficient, extinction-tobackscatter ratio, depolarization ratio, boundary layer height, aerosol optical depth, visibility, particulate matter concentration, cloud information, and aerosol size distribution).&nbsp;The three-wavelength eight-channel LiDAR adds 386 nm/607 nm nitrogen Raman channels and a 407 nm water vapor Raman channel, enabling precise inversion of vertical profiles such as water vapor mixing ratio.

-Raman-Mie Aerosol LiDAR-Based on the principles of Mie scattering and Raman detection, the system emits laser beams into the atmosphere to accurately measure atmospheric aerosol optical properties (including extinction coefficient, backscattering coefficient, extinction-tobackscatter ratio, depolarization ratio, boundary layer height, aerosol optical depth, visibility, particulate matter concentration, cloud information, and aerosol size distribution).

-Ozone LiDAR-Based on the differential absorption LiDAR (DIAL) principle, the system emits a pair of closely spaced laser wavelengths—one in a strong absorption band and the other in a weak absorption band of ozone. By analyzing the returned signals, the vertical profile of ozone concentration is retrieved through differential inversion. Through optimization of the optical receiving system and the addition of a secondary (auxiliary) telescope alongside the primary telescope, the system can measure ozone vertical profiles up to 15 km.

-Turbine Wind LiDAR 300m/1km-Based on the principle of optical pulse coherent Doppler frequency shift detection, this product captures the Doppler frequency shift of the backscattered signals from aerosol particles in the atmosphere, deriving the atmospheric wind field information—to achieve real-time measurement and display of the wind field. Moreover, it can be combined with the LiDAR’s opto-mechanical scanning to realize high-precision and refined measurement of the three-dimensional wind field.

-Vertical Wind LiDAR 300m/2km/3km-Based on the principle of optical pulse coherent Doppler frequency shift detection, this product captures the Doppler frequency shift of the backscattered signals from aerosol particles in the atmosphere, deriving the atmospheric wind field information—to achieve real-time measurement and display of the wind field. Moreover, it can be combined with the LiDAR’s opto-mechanical scanning to realize high-precision and refined measurement of the three-dimensional wind field.

-Scanning Wind LiDAR &nbsp;3km/10km-Based on the principle of optical pulse coherent Doppler frequency shift detection, this product captures the Doppler frequency shift of the backscattered signals from aerosol particles in the atmosphere, deriving the atmospheric wind field information—to achieve real-time measurement and display of the wind field. Moreover, it can be combined with the LiDAR’s opto-mechanical scanning to realize high-precision and refined measurement of the three-dimensional wind field.
