Over the years, we have continuously improved and refined our feeding methods using our original fermented feed made with Okinawa Orion Beer lees. Taking into account each cow’s age and type, we carefully adjust the feed to ensure healthy and well-balanced growth.
As a result, Motobu Wagyu received the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award for Excellence in 2013. Since then, it has been highly praised for its mild, sweet fat and excellent melt-in-the-mouth texture, earning support across a wide range of dishes including yakiniku (grilled meat), shabu-shabu, steaks, and Hamburg steaks.
Every cow we ship is not only traceable through an individual identification number (traceability system), but also carefully observed and physically checked by our staff on a daily basis to monitor their health condition.
