Ten buyers from Europe, Mainland China and the US placed onsite orders for our emeralds worth US$1 million in total. We expect our onsite orders received at the show will amount to US$3 million. It’s a good show!

Twelve buyers including six from Mainland China already placed onsite orders amounting to US$11-12 million for our fancy colour diamonds. These orders include a large-sized blue diamond worth US$8 million bought by one buyer from Mainland China. We are positive about the business prospects in the next few months after the show.

We visit the twin jewellery shows held in Hong Kong in March regularly to look for new suppliers. At this year’s shows, we have identified seven potential suppliers from Hong Kong, Italy, Thailand and Turkey. We love Hong Kong shows and we’ll definitely come back next year.

Founded in 1999, Kyra Diamonds is a jewellery manufacturer and retailer in the UAE with the Middle East being our major market. I have visited the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show for many times. I am particularly looking for socially and environmentally responsible suppliers and new suppliers of loose diamonds at this year’s show. I have found more than five potential suppliers of natural diamonds in fancy shapes and already placed orders worth US$14,000 in total with two suppliers from Hong Kong. I am going to place additional orders during the show and my total orders will amount to US$50,000. It is extremely important for me to be here as the Hong Kong show brings together suppliers from around the world under one roof and makes it easier for me to complete the entire selection.
