36th Food Expo opens today

Five Themed Days showcase global flavours and wellness trends, inspiring public to embrace healthy and quality living

The HKTDC Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), opened today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three fairs will run concurrently for five days from 13 to 17 August and are open to the public. The Food Expo PRO (13 to 15 August) is open exclusively to trade buyers during its first two days, while on its final day it will welcome both trade buyers and the public. The Hong Kong International Tea Fair (13 to 15 August) is again fully open to both trade visitors and the public this year. The International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM), jointly organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA), HKTDC and 10 leading research institutions, also commenced today and will run from 13 to 15 August.

The 35th Food Expo and concurrent fairs attract over 500,000 visits

Multiple offers and theme days boost consumption and traffic

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, and Home Delights Expo successfully concluded today. Food Expo PRO and the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, which opened to both industry professionals and the public for the first time, wrapped up successfully on 16 August. The five exhibitions featured some 1,890 exhibitors and attracted over 500,000 visits. The bustling atmosphere resulted in a per capita spending of HK$1,630, once again demonstrating the appeal of this annual event and the public’s purchasing power. Over at Food Expo PRO and the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, there were some 18,500 buyers from 64 countries and regions. Apart from Hong Kong, buyers came from Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, as well as ASEAN countries, including Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, among others, highlighting Hong Kong's significant role as a key food trade hub globally. Additionally, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products, organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA) together with the HKTDC and ten scientific research institutions, also concluded successfully on 15 August.

Robust visitor turnout despite downpour; special offers and theme days to spark shopping excitement

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the five-day (14-18 August) Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo open to the public from today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Food Expo PRO, held concurrently from 14 to 16 August, is open to trade buyers for the first two days and to the public and trade buyers on the final day. For the first time, the Hong Kong International Tea Fair will be open to both industry professionals and the public throughout its three-day duration (14-16 August). The International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA) together with the HKTDC and ten scientific research institutions, also take place today and tomorrow (14-15 August).

35th Food Expo opens next week five theme days kick off premium lifestyle journey

Tea Fair fully opens to public for the first time, held concurrently with Beauty & Wellness Expo, Home Delights Expo, Food Expo PRO, and ICMCM

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 35th Food Expo, 9th Beauty & Wellness Expo, and 11th Home Delights Expo will take place from Thursday, 14 to Monday, 18 August 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai. Running concurrently, the trade-focused 3rd Food Expo PRO and the 16th Hong Kong International Tea Fair will be held from 14 to 16 August, with the Tea Fair opening to both trade and public visitors for all three days for the first time. Together, these five fairs feature some 1,890 exhibitors, showcasing a diverse global gourmet foods and wines, teas, health and beauty products, and innovative home appliances, providing a one-stop sourcing and shopping experience for trade buyers and the public. Additionally, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), co-organised by the HKTDC, the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA), and 10 research institutions, will be held on 14 and 15 August, offering industry professionals the latest insights into Chinese medicine.

Food Expo and concurrent events reflect spending power

The Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), concluded on a high note today while the two trade fairs – Food Expo PRO and Hong Kong International Tea Fair – drew to a successful close on 19 August. The five fairs featured more than 1,800 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions and attracted close to 480,000 public visitors, an encouraging recovery sign for the trade and fairs industries. The International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIIA) in collaboration with the HKTDC and eight major research institutes, also concluded on 18 August.

Food Expo and inaugural Food Expo PRO open today

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the eagerly anticipated HKTDC Food Expo, HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo, and HKTDC Home Delights Expo has grandly opened from today to 21 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) for five consecutive days. The three-day inaugural Food Expo PRO also kicked off this morning with the returning Hong Kong International Tea Fair at the same venue from today to 19 August. Moreover, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA) together with the HKTDC and eight scientific research institutions, runs concurrently today and tomorrow. Guest of honour Michael Wong, Deputy Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), officiated at this morning’s opening ceremony for the concurrent fairs, joined by Dr Peter K N Lam, Chairman of the HKTDC, and Margaret Fong, Executive Director of the HKTDC.
