Meiji Gold Pastel with Calligraphy & Flowers Pattern Tea Set 

The artist's fluent running script and depiction of flowers and plants are skillful in brushwork, and the gold is painted like ink. This reminds people of the ink-colored tea sets of the early Republic of China, which used ceramics as rice paper, full of literati atmosphere.

With a teapot, one cooling bowl and two cups, you can drink alone or together. Although it does not have five cups like other Japanese tea sets, it still appears to be a complete set.

The Chinese style of the teapot and cusp is unquestionable, and such an imitation of Chinese style can only appear before the war.

The teapot is so small and precious, only 80cc, which is hard to find in China!

Overall, it is a style that only existed in the Meiji period, which is equivalent to a set of old tea set from the early Republic of China.

一壺一湯冷二杯，自斟之餘還可對酌。雖未有如其它日本茶器有五杯，但尚不失為一套完整套裝。

壺和杯的中國風格無可置疑，這樣的仿華風格只能在戰前出現。

整體而言，只有是明治時期才有的風格，等於一套民初的舊器了。
