Raw Material

Fresh leaf harvested before Qingming from a high-mountain, seed-grown local tea population on Mengding Mountain, Ya'an, Sichuan, at approximately 800-1,000 m.

Processing

Traditionally pile-fermented in the Ya'an style, steam-pressed using an established heritage method, and naturally aged in dry storage for more than a decade.

Character

A calm, mature aged aroma with mellow depth and a soft, glutinous-rice-like note. The liquor is clear orange-red, and the taste is smooth and rounded, showing substantial development from long aging.
