This is a Hezhou kiln intangible cultural heritage long kiln red glazed carved plate, made from native clay from Huaihua, Hunan, China, with glaze mixed using plant ash and no chemical pigments. Each piece is handcrafted, carved, and fired in a traditional long kiln with wood at high temperatures, resulting in unique kiln patterns. The thick and breathable ceramic body can be used for tea ceremonies or serving fruits and snacks, reflecting the craftsmanship of local artisans from the Wuxi area.
