The display unit for all ChronoMaster and QuartzMaster devices offers the greatest flexibility in the smallest space. The compact Terminal was developed for use on a workbench and can be tilted as required. It has a bright and high-resolution 7" display with touch function and its ergonomic design enables users to work productively with the user-friendly software. You decide which devices are connected to the Terminal. Whether measuring mechanical watches, quartz watches or even both together – the Terminal can be combined with up to four different measuring devices and expanded at any time. The Terminal is able to directly access the test programs of the parameter and result management system Wicotrace via Ethernet. The ChronoMaster Auto measures the beat noise of mechanical watches. It moves to all main test positions and any intermediate positions automatically and precisely. The movement in two axes is smooth and silent. It can measure while in motion and thus reveals new dimensions in the measurement of mechanical watches. The high-quality drive unit was developed to fit the needs of the ChronoMaster Auto. The motors are stowed in the foot section of the device to prevent magnetic fields from affecting the function of the movement. The compact design with a low centre of gravity occupies little space and provides a high degree of stability. The ChronoMaster Auto requires a single USB cable for data connection and power supply for operation with a PC or the Witschi Terminal. The QuartzSensor is a compact measuring device for the measurement of analogue and LCD watches or movements, as well as tuning fork watches. The capacitive and inductive sensors measure the rate deviation and analyse the motor pulses. Sophisticated shielding of the sensors minimises unwanted interference. The device is connected to a Windows PC or the Terminal via the USB interface. The stable stand enables comfortable work with movements and watches with or without wristband and is cushioned to prevent scratches. In the parameter and measurement result management software WiCoTRACE, automated measurement sequences can be easily created and centrally managed.
