HKTDC’s seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events successfully attract over 95,000 global buyers

Hong Kong’s international trade strength on display as cross-sector opportunities open new markets for global businesses

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today successfully concluded seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events, attracting over 95,000 buyers from 134 countries and regions for sourcing and business negotiations. Among the lifestyle fairs, the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair attracted over 32,000 buyers, Home InStyle drew some 20,000 buyers, and Fashion InStyle gathered some 12,000 buyers, while the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong saw over 9,600 buyers attend the concurrent events. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Licensing Show (HKILS) attracted over 21,000 buyers, and the Asian Licensing Conference (ALC) featured over 20 international licensing industry leaders as speakers. Non-local buyers at these fairs came primarily from Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, and Japan, while significant growth was also recorded in buyer numbers from the Philippines, Canada, and Türkiye, underscoring the fairs' strong international appeal.

Licensing opportunities converge, Fashion InStyle Showcases Crossover Applications of New Materials on a Global Scale

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today officially opened its seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events. The Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle are being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), while the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong at AsiaWorld-Expo, from today until 30 April. The Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference are running concurrently from today until 29 April, also at HKCEC. Together, the six trade fairs have attracted some 5,600 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions.

Lifestyle and licensing trade fairs foster cross-sector business opportunities, strengthen resilience and expand market horizons

The seven large-scale trade events organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), covering lifestyle products and licensing opportunities, concluded successfully today, with buyer numbers increasing across all exhibitions and some 100,000 buyers from 131 countries and regions attending for on-site purchasing and business negotiations. Among the lifestyle fairs, the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair recorded some 36,000 buyers, Home InStyle attracted over 20,000 buyers, Fashion InStyle drew over 11,000 buyers, while the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong saw over 11,000 buyers attend the concurrent events. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Licensing Show (HKILS) attracted over 20,000 buyers, and the Asian Licensing Conference (ALC) featured nearly 20 international licensing industry leaders as speakers. Non-local buyers at the six fairs came primarily from Mainland China, Taiwan and Malaysia, highlighting Hong Kong’s influence as an international trade platform.

HKTDC launches seven events to cover lifestyle sectors and licensing in late April

Hong Kong has always been known for its rich blend of Chinese and Western cultures, generating a thriving cultural and creative ecosystem that has become one of the economic-growth engines. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host seven events covering lifestyle products and licensing industry in April. These include the Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle from 20 to 23 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Exhibitions and conferences will follow in the next week – the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair from 27 to 30 April at the HKCEC, the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and concurrently the debut DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong at AsiaWorld-Expo, as well as the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference from 27 to 29 April at the HKCEC. These seven events further promote Hong Kong’s lifestyle and creative industries, helping the sectors seize global opportunities.

HKTDC lifestyle, licensing events attract close to 56,000 buyers

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair; Home InStyle; the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair; Fashion InStyle; the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair as well as the Hong Kong International Licensing Show successfully attracted close to 56,000 buyers from over 130 countries and regions. About 60% buyers were non-local coming from mainly Mainland China, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Taiwan, the United States, Japan and Korea. The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference also invited about 30 global industrial giants and insiders to share insights. Exhibitors and buyers responding to surveys commissioned by the HKTDC said they expected business and sales to return to pre-pandemic levels within 6 to 18 months.
