To highlight Hong Kong’s advantages as an international innovation and technology hub as well as the business platform for smart city technologies, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council will co-organise an inaugural InnoEX in April 2023. Riding on the past success of the HKTDC International ICT Expo, InnoEX will be a prominent one-stop I&amp;T event encompassing insights from influential tech experts and thought leaders, showcase of cutting-edge technologies and disruptive innovations, as well as business exchanges, facilitating regional and cross-sector collaborations among enterprises and government administrations, with a special focus in Asia. InnoEX will be one of the core programmes under the inaugural ‘Business of Innovation and Technology Week’.InnoEX will adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model with the physical exhibition to be held on 12-15 April 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and the online platform to open from 12-22 April 2023, offering participants a more comprehensive and effective exchange and business matching platform both in person and online. <h4>Planning Your Trip to Hong Kong</h4> Anyone who wishes to travel to Hong Kong by air (if having stayed in Taiwan or overseas places) has to prepare the following prior to boarding:<ol type="I"><li><a style="color: #56a5ec;" href="https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html#PredepartureTest" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a negative result proof of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19</a> (taken within 48 hours before the aircraft’s scheduled departure time)</li><li>con­firmation of room reservation at a Designated Quarantine Hotel (DQH) for the required compulsory quarantine duration;</li><li><a style="color: #56a5ec;" href="https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html#Vaccination" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a Recognised Vaccination Record (if applicable)</a></li></ol> Please refer to this <a style="color: #56a5ec;" href="https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/concise_guide_vaccinated_travellers_ENG.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Concise Guide</a> for details of boarding and quarantine arrangement for person travelling to Hong Kong. <h4>Booking of Designated Quarantine Hotels</h4> Your quarantine requirements depend on whether you are a Hong Kong resident, places you stayed before your arrival in Hong Kong, and your vaccination status. <h4>Provisional Vaccine Pass</h4> Provisional Vaccine Pass is an arrangement to provide convenience for inbound non Hong Kong residents arriving on or after May 1 2022 to enter specified premises under the Vaccine Pass. Inbound travellers who are subject to compulsory quarantine will be issued with a vaccination record QR code and a Provisional Vaccine Pass for local use apart from a compulsory quarantine order at boundary control points (including land and airport boundary control points) upon entering Hong Kong.  For details, please refer to the <a style="color: #56a5ec;" href="https://www.covidvaccine.gov.hk/pdf/nonlocalvaccFAQs_ENG.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FAQ</a>.
