We expect more than 10 buyers from Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Chinese Mainland, Malaysia and the UK will form partnerships with us.

I have connected with a lot of new buyers who are retailers from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Chinese Mainland and Southeast Asia. Five new buyers from Hong Kong, India and Italy have placed trial orders worth US$30,000 in total for our optical frames. We expect they’ll place more orders after testing their market response.

We have already placed onsite orders with 13 existing suppliers and seven new suppliers for US$200,000 worth of optical frames, sunglasses and clip-ons. We plan to buy at least US$1 million worth of new products from more suppliers after the fair.

Through the Click2Match meetings, I have found six potential suppliers of handmade acetate charms for sunglasses, titanium sunglasses, acetate sunglasses and optical frames. I have reserved a budget of US$110,000 for placing trial orders for sunglasses with new suppliers identified at the Hong Kong International Optical Fair.
