We have met with quality buyers not only from Hong Kong but also from overseas markets such as Brazil, Mainland China, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore and the UK. We have found 20-30 potential customers from large corporations and property management companies.
The Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo provides a perfect platform for us to look for new customers. At this year’s expo, we have met with new customers from different countries and regions such as Egypt, Germany, India, Poland, Thailand and the US who are keen to source lighting products for their markets.
At the fairs, I have found four potential suppliers of solar lights and asked them to send me samples. I plan to place orders with two new suppliers and the size of each order is 500 pieces. Through the HKTDC’s Click2Match service, I’ll have online meetings with some suppliers after the fairs to explore more business opportunities.
At the two lighting fairs, I have found six to seven potential business partners who supply smart lighting solutions, landscape lighting and smart downlights. I plan to place orders with three potential suppliers from Mainland China. Online meetings arranged through the HKTDC’s Click2Match service also provide a good option for me to meet with suppliers who are not participating in the physical fairs.
