Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate

<table class=" acchk-responsive-table" border="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td>Labour Department, Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Industry Association (HKECIA), Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) have concurrently agreed to endorse the Contractor Green Card System at the Venue. With immediate effect, contractors entering the Venue for construction works are required to obtain the Construction Industry Safety Training Certificates (“Green Card”). The main objective is to ensure that mandatory basic safety training has been provided to contractors before working at the Venue.<br /><br />Definition: Green Card is the “Certificate in Mandatory Basic Safety Training” as defined under Section 6BA (4) of Construction Site Safety Regulation (CSSR).<br /><br />All stand fitting contractors must acquire the said certificates (cards) and have it properly displayed when working at the Venue. The Venue Operator’s security reserves the right to refuse entry or remove personnel for those who fail to provide valid credentials.</td></tr></tbody></table>
