Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair is a must-attend event for everyone. We are taking advantage of this solid platform to promote a variety of sake products from Gifu and Tottori prefectures of Japan this year. Many buyers have visited our booths to taste different kinds of sake including traditional Japanese sake from Gifu as well as sake with fruit flavour and warm sake from Tottori. We are happy with the results. Besides professional buyers, the Public Day enables us to connect directly with individual buyers especially Hong Kong consumers. This is perfect. We sell a lot of sake at the Public Day every year.

French Pavilions, Wine & Spirits, Business France

More than 70 wine producers have joined together to showcase at the French pavilion organised by Business France this year. We have met with a number of buyers from different places including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Our wine tasting sessions were all packed with buyers wishing to know more about French wines. Some buyers went to explore business with our wineries immediately after wine tasting. The response has been encouraging. Some of our participating companies have already secured orders. Hong Kong is the seventh largest export market for French wine and spirits, and serves as the platform to re-export to Mainland China and Southeast Asia. Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair plays an essential role in promoting the variety and quality of French wine and spirits. We’re pleased with the results and will bring more French wineries to exhibit here.

TiM S.A.

In business for 29 years, TiM is the biggest wine company in Poland. Besides wine production, we import red wine, white wine, sparkling wine and rose wine from 30 countries. I am looking for quality wines from new suppliers at Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair. I have already made a lot of new contacts. Negotiation is underway with two wineries from Portugal and Italy for red wine, white wine and rose wine. We hope to establish long-term business relationships with them through further discussions. Potential orders will be placed on a container basis.

Shinsegae L&B

Shinsegae L&B is part of Korea’s Shinsegae Group. We specialise in the import and sale of high quality liquor products including wine, spirits and beer. This is my first visit to Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair to source new wines. I’ve identified five to ten wineries from Portugal, Italy and France for red wines and white wines. Our management will take a closer look at the wineries to explore cooperation. This is a good fair with a lot of choices. It offers a good platform to discover new wines. The Craft Beer Pavilion also features some interesting products.
