Food Expo opens in mid-August
Coffee Avenue debuts at Gourmet Zone; Tea Fair, Beauty & Wellness Expo, Home Delights Expo and ICMCM held concurrently
The 30th HKTDC Food Expo, 11th HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair, 4th HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo, 6th HKTDC Home Delights Expo and the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products will be staged concurrently at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, starting from 15 August. Benjamin Chau, Deputy Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), introduced highlights of the fairs at a press conference today
This year’s Food Expo will feature more than 1,570 exhibitors, serving up delicacies from more than 20 countries and regions
The Hong Kong International Tea Fair will gather more than 250 exhibitors. It will be open exclusively to trade buyers on the first two days and to public ticket-holders on the third day
The HKTDC is once again cooperating with the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) to spotlight Korean beauty products at the fourth HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo. More than 40 Korean exhibitors will showcase a wide selection of products from the country at the K-Beauty Expo Hong Kong pavilion. The HKTDC Home Delights Expo will present a broad range of stylish kitchen appliances, cookware, tableware and bedroom items, including a slow juicer from Korea
This year’s Food Expo will continue to adopt green measures and promote waste reduction at source, including partnering with social enterprise BottLess and health insurance company Bupa to expand the on-site utensil-lending service
The Food Expo features exclusive products such as truffle ice-cream with truffle flakes and green tea craft beer
