Thanks the HKTDC for using various channels to publicise the fair, this year’s visitor traffic is higher than last year. We have received overwhelming responses from public visitors. We expect to reach a 5-digit onsite sales figure. On the B2B side, we are so happy to have received a 6-digit order from a new buyer. After the fair, we’ll have online meetings with 20 buyers from Southeast Asia through the Click2Match platform.
We expect that our onsite sales turnover will reach HK$800,000. Besides, we have arranged more than 20 online meetings to connect overseas buyers after the physical fair via the HKTDC’s Click2Match platform.
At the two fairs, I have talked to five exhibitors including a movement supplier, two brand owners and related trade associations. Besides, I used HKTDC’s Click2Match smart business-matchingplatform to schedule face-to-face meetings with exhibitors before the fairs.
Through the HKTDC’s Click2 Match platform and business matching team, we have set up physical meetings with six parts and components suppliers the fair. This platform is proved to be effective in helping us identify suitable suppliers in advance. After business negotiations at the physical fair, we have successfully found five potential suppliers. One of them has adopted a brand-new technology to produce leather straps.
