Mayang Blue Phoenix has generated a considerable amount of interest from Hong Kong consumers and corporate customers again at the Expo this year. On the second day of exhibition, we took centre stage with the signing of a RMB60 million contract with a Hong Kong client for agri-products mainly our high-quality edible eggs.

The theme on Flavours of Intangible Cultural Heritage has also drawn extra interest as consumers came forth to purchase our unique shrimp paste and various sauces. Tying in with the Expo’s 35th edition, we offer our shrimp paste at special price and have received exceptional responses. The Expo is always an excellent show. The traffic of consumers is even better than last year. Sales are positive and we expect the revenue to reach about HK$900,000.
Consumers snapped up about 550 kg of annona squamosal within the first two days of exhibition. We anticipate a second lot totalling 650 kg to sell out well before the Expo closes. Happy Bee Farm’s premium honey has also attracted a lot of buying interest. The company has met with a Japanese department store in Hong Kong, a Macau hotel and a Mainland China agri-product company at the Expo to explore cooperation.
